Run red lights injure a quarter of a million people every year and kill at least 800 people.

Therefore logic dictates: since motorists run red lights & stop signs and even kill people when doing so, all drivers should be banned from the road.

Shoulder Checking a Car

I wasn’t so sure I wanted to post about this. Humbly suffering in quiet is a source of pride for me :D But, since I’m feeling a little poor still 3-days hence, and perhaps someone can learn from my (and their) mistakes, I thought I would share.

On Monday this past week, I had a run-in with the trunk of a car. It wasn’t a big deal then and still isn’t now. My bike is fine (always the first concern for a cyclist as bikes don’t heal) and I am only a little sore. Tuesday, immediately following, I was able to ride the Rose Bowl Ride and completed it.
