Below is a non-comprehensive list of event rides and races and maybe a few comments about them. To help you understand how difficult the terrain of the routes, some events are rated according to the Event Rating System.

Some are races, some are century events, others are both. These are rides & events that I have an interest in (so somebody out there may have an interest as well). Some I have done, others, not. Hopefully one day, I’ll get to all.

Cat-1 century ride, 9,000′ of climbing.

London-Paris, London, England
Races & Gran Fondo, 3-stages, 110-miles each.

August

Cool Breeze, Ventura, California
Cat-4 century ride, along the Pacific coast, very scenic.

Hotter-N-Hell Hundred, Wichita Falls, Texas
Races & Cat-4 century ride, 10,000+ participants.

September

Sunrise Century, Clarkseville, Tennessee
Cat-4 century ride, very flat, record-setting peloton leaves 15-mins early.

Swampman 100, Macclenny, Florida
Cat-4 century ride, very flat.

November

El Tour de Tucson, Tucson, Arizona
Cat-4 century ride, 8,000+ participants.
